Tom and Isabel is a young family couple who live on a tiny island. Seems, they will forever live in a happiness, but terrible grief happens: they have to bury their long-awaited child. Isabel loses the any meaning of her life, and Tom hardly withstands the suffering of his honey. One day they receive Light Between Oceans - the light of hope. Tom discovers the dead man and survived newborn baby girl in the boat that has been nailed to the shore.
