In World War II, the US Army faced a daunting challenge when they assigned an extraordinary task to the exclusively Black and female battalion. Their mission was to tackle an impossible feat of organizing a staggering backlog of 17 million undelivered mail items meant for American soldiers, which had accumulated over a period of three years. Their objective was to successfully complete this task within a tight timeframe of six months.
