The Electric State

Set in the desolate landscape of America in 1997, a devastating disaster has left the country in ruins. Michelle, determined to locate her younger brother, embarks on a perilous journey alongside an enigmatic robot. As she travels further, the world grows increasingly ominous and volatile. The presence of deserted cities, military drones, and remnants of a forgotten civilization only serve to complicate her quest. Yet, undeterred by the imminent dangers, Michelle must press on, for turning back is no longer an option. This cinematic adaptation draws inspiration from Simon Stålenhag's graphic novel comic of the same title.
