Philadelphia is currently facing a severe opioid crisis, and in the midst of it all, Mickey Fitzpatrick serves as a police officer, diligently patrolling the area. As dead women mysteriously appear throughout the city, Mickey becomes increasingly concerned when she realizes that Casey is missing. Despite her superiors' explicit orders, Mickey takes it upon herself to embark on a relentless search for her sister. This pursuit leads her down a treacherous path filled with drug dealers, criminal organizations, and corrupt officials. Along the way, our courageous protagonist uncovers a vast network that exerts control over the entire district. The closer Mickey gets to unraveling the truth, the more formidable the resistance becomes. False testimonies, evidence that vanishes into thin air, and witnesses who are coerced into silence all conspire against her.
